Day 1

9.30 am-8pm

Lecture + Outdoor Photoshoot with Professional Models

  1. Individual portfolio critique   

  2. How to get Inspiration and come up with Photoshoot idea

  3. Developing your own Photographic Style

  4. Styling a photoshoot and working with a creative team

  5. Creative Photography on budget

  6. Shooting and Understanding Natural and artificial Light

  7. How to pose a model and compose a shot


Day 2

10am-5pm

Photoshop Editing Tutorial  

  1. Culling Images

  2. Raw processing

  3. Skin Retouch

  4. How to use Liquify Tool Dodge and Burn

  5. Color Correction Sharpening the Image

  6. Saving the Image for Social media and Web use

The maximum number of students for this workshop is 10, to ensure that I can work with every participant individually during the class. You will be able to ask me any question and receive individual critique of your existing work and the work you do during the workshop. You will be able to keep all the images from the workshop and use them in your portfolio. Snacks and drinks will be provided. This workshop is great for both professional and amateur photographers. 


What do I need to bring with me ?

  • Make sure to bring your gear, cameras and lenses, doesn’t  matter how professional or beginner it is.Just bring what you usually use. Batteries and memory cards.

  • Laptop will be required for the second day of the workshop with Photoshop and Camera Raw installed on it. If you don’t have a laptop, you won’t be able to edit with us on the second day, only watch and learn.

Will I be able to use the images in my own portfolio?

  • Yes! You will be able to use the images in your own portfolio, and post them online. But you will not be able to sell them in any way shape or form. If you do end up posting the images on your social media, please consider tagging the models, make up artist and Irene Rudnyk Photography as a workshop host.

Is this workshop suitable for professionals or beginners?

  • This workshop is suitable for both beginners and professionals. I always keep the number of participants low, so that I can still give personal guidance to every student, so no matter the level, everyone will be able to learn useful information and improve.

How many people are in the workshop?

  • There will be a maximum of 10 participants, and  3 models.

What happens if I am late?

  • I will wait about 15 minutes before the lecture starts to make sure everyone has had the time to arrive, but after 15 minutes I will start and if you are late you might miss some of the information.

What should I wear?

  • Make sure you are wearing comfortable clothing and comfortable shoes.

What about food?

  • I will be providing snacks tea, coffee and water during the whole workshop (please inform me of you have any food limitations and allergies) We will also take a break and get lunch in one of the restaurants nearby( the lunch cost is not included in the workshop price) and after the workshop everyone is invited to hang out together  in one of the local pubs.

Can I record during the workshop ?

  • Feel free to record any parts of the workshop for your own use only.

This workshop is NOT for you if : 

  • You don't have basic understanding of Photoshop/Lightroom

  • You don't know basics of your camera 

Can a friend of mine come with us without applying for the workshop if not interested in photography?

  • Unfortunately anyone who is attending the workshop will have to pay the workshop fee. Even if not interested in photography.
